1x01 Something Wicca This Way Comes
Prue Halliwell is not pleased when her sister Piper announces that Phoebe, the youngest Halliwell, is returning from New York to live with them in the victorian house they inherited from there grandmother.
Despite Phoebe's denials, Prue believes she had an affair with Roger, her ex-fiance and co worker at the museum. the awkward tension between them is set aside when the spirit board pointer moves to spell out " Attic".
Suprised when the locked attic door open's, Phoebe goes in and finds a dusty, leather-bound book named "The book of Shadows"
in a old trunk. She recites an incantation that indicates she and her sisters will receive magical powers, but nothing seems to change.
Phoebe is convinced that the book's story about their ancestor Melinda Warren being a witch is true, and that together Phoebe and her sisters will be the most powerful witches the world has ever known.
Prue and Piper are not so easily persuaded.
As their powers begin to grow, though, they start to accept Phoebe's theories.
Piper discovers her magical power when she inadvertenly freezes the chef during a cooking audition,
Prue "thinks" cream into her coffee, which makes her aware of her ability to move things with her mind.
Phoebe is thrilled when she prevents an accident she forsees in a vision.

Dealing with powers in the real world will take some practice, but the girls are quickly put to the test when a series of crimes seem to have supernatural overtones.
Andy Trudeau, a police inspector and Prue's high school flame, investigates the murders of three women who practised witchcraft and were all stabed with a ceremonial knife.
He has an interest in the occult, but has no idea how interesting his life is about to become.
Beyond traditional crime fighting, the Halliwell sisters new abilities pit them against previously unknown challenges and reward them with new found empowerment.
Prue quits her museum job because Roger takes credit for her work. Piper has no idea that the reporter she's dating is a warlock until Jeremy Burns tries to kill her to steal her power. She instinctively freezes him to escape. When he attacks the sisters at the manor, Prue slows his advance by mentally flinging him back.
A spell that Phoebe made Jeremy break out in thorns, but the warlock isnt vanquished until they chant an inscription from the spirit board, "The power of three will set us free".
Together they say the spell and their first demon was vanquished.

1x02 I've Got You Under My Skin
The Halliwells make significant professional strides when Piper becomes the manager of Quake, a popular restaurant, and Prue is hired at Buckland's Auction House.
Piper would much rather return to being normal then accept her fate as a witch. She doesn't share Phoebe's certainty that the Charmed Ones are good. After seeing a documentary about witches, Piper is afraid to enter a church, fearing that she will be struck down by lightning because she is an evil being. On the other end of the spectrum, Phoebe's cavalier attitude towards their powers worries Prue.
The book of shadows emphatically states that they must not use their powers for personal gain, yet the youngest Halliwell can't resist tapping into her power of Premonitions to see which guys will be most receptive to her advances.
While Piper is fretting and Phoebe is flirting, Andy warns Prue about someone who has been abducting young women in the area around Quake.
Phoebe is excited when she meets Stefan, a handsome and famous photographer, unaware that he is a demon.
Phoebe agrees to model for him, but when she arrives at his studio, she gets a premonition about who he is.
Piper makes the connection that something is wrong when she recognizes a tattoo on an old lady who she believes is her friend Brittany.
Piper and Prue find out that Stefan is the demon Javna, who uses the evil eye to steal youth.
They rush to Stefan's studio and save Phoebe.
The three sisters then recite an incantation to invoke the Hand of Fatima that vanquishes Javna.
The effects of them vanquishing him turns the old women young again.

1x03 Thank You For not Morphing
When Victor Bennett, the Charmed Ones long last dad, shows up at Buckland's, Prue identifies a family heirloom as a protection ring, but she rejects his attempt to make amends.
Piper and Phoebe decide to give there father another chance.
But when Phoebe goes to see him at his hotel she has a Premonition of him stealing the book of shadows.
And the Shape-shifters next door are trying to steal the book out of the house but the book protects its self and they cant get it out of the house.
When the 3 sisters sit down with there dad Prue confronts him and he admits that he is trying to steal the book but only to protect his daughters from the evil that it will bring into there life.
Victor try's to get Phoebe to understand him and prompts her to have another Premonition,
This time she see's Marshal, a neighbor, Shape-shifting into Victor, Phoebe knows realises that it is the neighbor's that are after the book, and runs in to tell her sisters then finds a spell in the Book of Shadows to banish them.
Trying to confuse the sisters one of the sisters shape-shift into Victor, but he doesn't count on Victor walking in and be willing to die to save his daughters.
One of the Victors tells Phoebe to say the spell, Prue realises who her real farther is and uses her power to give him the family protection ring that will save him.
He arranges to meet them all for diner but could'nt make it but sent a note and a video of Christmas past found on the door step by an attractive new handyman, Leo Wyatt.

1x04 Dead Man Dating
The ghost of a Chinese man, Mark, asks for help, sidelining Piper's dilemma of whether or not to throw Prue a surprise birthday party. Tony Wong, the head of Chinatown triad, killed Mark, to fake his own death, Wong then put a ring on Marks finger and burned his body.
Phoebe gets a job at a hotel as a psyhic and thats where Mark seeks them out.
Mark isn't sure how or why he died, and he tells Piper that if he isn't properly buried soon, Chinese legend says Yama, the Gatekeeper of hell, will take his soul. But no one can make arrangements because neither his mother nor the police know he is dead.
Piper and Mark visit the scene of his murder and run into Yama, who is ready to collect another soul.
Piper freezes him so that she and Mark can escape and bring the killer to justice.
Piper and Mark see his death report on the TV, but the victim is identified as Tony Wong.
They now know who they are after as Phoebe gets a premonition about Wong's whereabouts.
Piper and Mark seek him out, and she photographs Wong with the newspaper headline about his death.
She then leaves the picture with Andy. Wong kidnaps Piper, but is killed when the police follow up on the anonymous tip. Yama captures Wongs soul, but Piper intercedes with the Gatekeeper on Mark's behalf. Mark is finally identified and buried, and escorted to what lies beyond by his deceased farther. Before he leaves, Mark convinces Prue to celebrate every birthday because nobody ever knows how many they'll have left. Piper mourns Mark and what might have been if they had met before he became a ghost.

1x05 Dream Sorcerer
Looking for some casual romance, Phoebe finds a spell to attract a lover in the book of Shadows. Piper justifies using it as a way of testing their powers. Prue opts out.
Aside from fretting about Andy and her secret, she has a busy work schedule, and a disturbing encounter with a man in her dreams.
Stress may hve caused the nightmare, but that doesn't explain the scratches on Prue's back.
Why, Piper wonders, didn't Prue use her powers against her dream attacker?
While Piper and Phoebe deal with obsesed men, Prue deals with her sleep intruder's deadly intentions. Andy hasn't told her he's investigateing a woman who died in her sleep of internal injuries.
The owner of a dream-research lab, Whitaker Berman, is the likely suspect, but Andy doesn't know that Berman is invading Prue's dreams.
On her way home from work Prue tries desparately to stay awake while talking to her sisters on the phone but she falls asleep, crashes and is taken to the hospital, where she falls
un-concious and the dream guy comes back to finish what he started.
Taking Piper's advice, Prue, while in her dream, uses her powers in self-defence to hurl Berman off a high building, Crushing him in his sleep.
Piper and Phoebe realize that magically induced romance is meaningless and they reverse the love spell

1x06 The Wedding from Hell
When the sisters all become involved with the Elliot Spencer’s wedding, they realize it’s not coincidence. Whatever guides them and their destiny will make sure they find those who need them.
Piper and Phoebe handle the catering.
Prue is drawn in by a inscribed knife Andy found on a priest that was murdered at the Spencer’s home.
The “Poignard” which is the name of the knife, is needed to kill Hecate, the Queen of the Underworld.
Know as Jade D’Mon,, she plans to collect on a deal she made with Mrs Spencer years before.
Jade needs to marry her son Elliott Spencer, and bear a demon child.
Rex Buckland and Hannah Webster from the auction house reveal they are evil by sending a wedding gift to Hecate.
The Charmed ones convince Allison, Elliot’s true bride to crash the wedding. Allison’s declaration of love breaks Hecate’s spell, and in Elliot’s hand, the power of the knife sends her and her demon bridesmaids back to the underworld with the help of Prue’s powers.
Given their Charmed nature and existence, the Halliwell sisters wonder if they will ever find love and live happily ever after.

1x07 The Fourth Sister
Only Prue is suspicious when Aviva, a teenage girl, returns the Halliwells’ missing cat, Kit,
And wants to discuss Wicca.
Living with her aunt yet feeling alone. Aviva called on Kali, the sorceress in her mirror, to make her part of the Halliwell family.
Kali plans to use Aviva to steal the Charmed ones magic. However, Aviva is shocked by the force of her powers when she accidentally injures her aunt and almost Kills Phoebe with a fire flame.
Aided by the Book of Shadows, the Charmed ones are prepared when Kali possesses Aviva. Piper freezes Aviva/Kali, which drives the spirit out of Aviva’s body.
Prue hurls Kali into a mirror , and Phoebe shatters the glass, extinguishing Kali’s existence and saving Aviva.
Piper and Phoebe compete for Leo Wyatt’s affections.
Distractions and a lack of privacy drives a wedge between Prue and Andy.
1x08 The Truth is Out There...and It Hurts
The Charmed ones attempt to have a normal girls night out at the movies and it is cut short when Piper is called back to quake.
When they are walking outside Phoebe has a premonition of a murdered woman with a hole bored into her forehead.
When Police car’s arive the girls assume they are too late to save the woman, but the victim was a man but killed the same way that Phoebe saw in her vision.
The killer strikes again and kills a man who works in a bio lab.
He is a Demon/Warlock that has a third eye which shoots a laser light out which he uses to kill his victims.
Prue casts a truth spell to find out how Andy would feel if he knew she was a witch and the spell was meant to be just cast with only her in the house so it would only affect her but Piper and Phoebe were down stairs so they were affected as well.
Phoebe thinks the spell is really cool and would come in handy for her to find the girl she saw in her vision as anyone they speak to will have to answer with the truth.
Phoebe goes to the police station to get some information from Andy, and then goes to meet Prue at work and bumps into Tanya, the sandwich girl. She gets her premonition again and realises that that is the girl they have to save.
And they realise there must be a pattern to the killings because they seem to be too random.
Phoebe puts it altogether when they find out the demon is not in the book and there is a button that doesn’t exist and then she has a vision of Tanya and a baby and realises that the demon is after her baby.
Prue and Piper are forced to fight the demon and he tells them he was sent back to kill all the people who were involved in creating a vaccine that will kill and desroy him and other Warlocks like him.
He attacks Prue and Piper freezes him and they grab a nearby crowbar and drive it into his third eye. The warlock gets sucked into a swirling vortex and was gone.
Prue finds out that Andy would not be happy with her Charmed Destiny.
Phoebe quits trying to win Leo when she admits she only wants him because Piper does.
Piper finds out that Leo likes her as much as she likes him.

1x09 The Witch Is Back
Rex Buckland tricks Prue into opening a locket that releases a Warlock from the past called Mathew Tate.
Mathew was a lover of Melinda Warren’s the beginning of the Halliwell line, but he betrayed her, and told of her being a witch so he could steal her powers. Before Melinda was burned at the stake for being a witch, Melinda got her powers back from Mathew Tate and cursed him to spend eternity in a locket, Only a warren witch could open the locket to free him.
When a witches power is used on him he has their power and is immune to it so he tricks Prue into using her power against him he notes that the family name is now ‘Halliwell’ not ‘Warren’ and goes off to seek his revenge and kill all of Melinda’s descendants
Prue rushes home to tell her sisters. When Phoebe touches the locket she has a premonition of Melinda putting Mathew into the locket.
When they check the book they see that the Warlock should not be released or he will destroy the Warren line.
Phoebe suggested they summon there great grandmother Melinda and she knew how to do it.
They all work together to create a potion to put Mathew Tate back in the locket, Rex Buckland and Hanna Webster help Mathew Tate to steal the rest of the Charmed ones powers
Mathew then steals Phoebe’s power and see’s that Melinda’s back and is helping them to make the potion to put him back in the locket. Now he only has to steal Piper’s powers.
Andy tries to arrest Prue for breaking into a museum for a feather but she manages to escape.
When Prue arrives home Mathew Tate is there and got them at gun point forcing Piper to use her power on him when Prue put the feather into the potion Melinda tells Piper to freeze Mathew and they throw the potion at him
When he unfreezes Melinda says the spell and put’s him back into the locket.
Piper askes Leo out on there first date and the Charmed ones release Melinda’s spirit.

1x10 Wicca Envy
Prue is framed for a theft from the auction house,Rex Buckland tricks her into stealing a priceless tiara out of the safe vault Prue had no idea what she had done. Hannah then killed a security guard that had evidence that Prue did the murder. Rex manipulated Prue into making it look as if she had done it. The police took Prue to jail for suspicion of murder. Andy was convinced that Prue did not do it. Phoebe and Piper used their powers to get Prue out of jail. As they were running away they ran into Rex, who took a picture of them. He told them that if they gave him their powers he would tell the police that he had just misplaced the Tiara and Prue would be off the hook. They had no choice but to agree. They did a spell that put their powers in a little lantern like thing that they would give to Rex. In the meantime Hannah turned herself into a jaguar, ready to kill the sisters. Oh no! Just as Hannah was about to kill them Leo magically fixed the Halliwell's powers. Piper froze Hannah and made her kill Rex. Then Rex and Hannah went to hell. Andy figured out that Rex and Hannah had framed Prue and let her go.
. Rex Buckland and co-worker, Hannah Webster, both of whom are demons.
Phoebe dates Rex; and Piper takes her relationship with Leo to the next level.

1x11 Feats of Clay
Phoebe announced that her ex-boyfriend, Clay from New York was coming to San Francisco to see her. She was very excited but wondered why he would come to see her even though they broke up. As it turned out Clay had an urn that he "bought" in Egypt. Actually he stole it. He wanted Phoebe to get Prue to sell it for him.
Little did Clay know the urn had a curse that whoever steals the urn dies. So before Prue can sell it at an auction they find out that it is stolen. The guardian of the urn almost killed Clay with a snake but he made a selfless act of trying to save Phoebe and it disappeared.

1x12 The Wendigo
One night Piper's car got a flat tire by a park. She called Prue and told her than went to call the SF roadside help people. Her cell phone batteries went dead. Luckily nearby there was a telephone booth. As Piper attempted to make a call a strange creature started to attack her. She could not freeze him because she was in the phone booth and her power only works in the room that she is in. The creature just managed to scrape her arm when someone shot a flare gun. The creature ran away. She found out that, Billy, the guy who shot the flare gun had been hunting this creature for a long time. This creature would rip the heart out of humans with AB- blood type the night of, the night before, and the night after the full moon. Andy and an FBI agent, Ashley Fallon , were on the case. Piper found the creature in the Book of Shadows. It was called a Wendigo. She told Billy and he went to tell Ashley. Little did he know Ashley was the Wendigo. So to protect herself she killed Billy. Meanwhile, Phoebe had begged Prue to give her a job at Bucklands. Prue said OK. When Phoebe was looking through some of the things that were being sold she came upon a gold bracelet with the initials T.L. on it. Phoebe had a premonition of a car crash and the bracelet flying out of the car. Phoebe was determined to find the owner. She found that it belonged to a little girl named Terri Lane
who was abducted by her father when she was 5. The inspector that had been on the case was in the car crash. He must have never gotten to tell Terry’s mom, Harriet, that he found her daughter. Phoebe found Harriet and Terri and reunited them. But Piper was in trouble. Where she had been scratched she grew a lot, I mean a lot of hair. She was sweating and sick. She had a dream that she turned into a Wendigo and killed Andy. Phoebe had a premonition of Ashley being the Wendigo. They went to the parks to melt her heart of ice and looked Piper up in attic, but right when they were going to shoot the Wendigo there was 2 Wendigos, one was Piper. Phoebe aimed at one. It was Piper. Piper froze it. Prue moved it into Ashley’s heart and Piper went back to normal.

1x13 From Fear to Eternity
It was Friday the 13th and Prue and Phoebe were at this occult bookstore. It was around 12:00 am. The lady who ran the store, Tanjella rushed the sisters out. As they left a demon went into the store. His power was that he could find a witch's greatest fear and use it to kill her. If he could kill 13 unmarried witches by the end of Friday the 13th he would be freed from the underworld. Tanjella had the greatest fear of being buried alive during an earthquake. The demon of fear started an earthquake in the store. Tanjella died of a heart attack. Her hair had turned shock white, and her face was contorted in fear. The demon went on. Piper was having a Friday the 13th themed fundraiser at Quake. Lucas Devane was their helping, also. He liked Piper, but she was giving him the cold shoulder because of a superstition. Phoebe had applied for a job at SWA property. Her boss, Susan Warren,was nice and hired her on the spot. Great, right? Well, actually, no. Susan had a special task for Phoebe to do. Phoebe had to lie to Susan's husband, Richard, about an affair that she was having. This totally went against Phoebe's beliefs. Phoebe took the job anyway and just hoped that it would not come up. Andy found out that Prue was the last one to shop at Tanjella's store. He came to her house to talk about it. Prue told Andy that she was just buying a good luck charm for Phoebe. After Andy left Prue looked it up in the Book of Shadows. She went to Quake to tell Piper about the demon. Then she went to a witch named Zoe's house to warn her. Whenever Prue got there it was too late. Zoe had had a heart attack because the demon of fear put a fire in her room. For fear of confrontation with Andy and/or Morris, Prue anonymously called 911 and left. She then went back to Quake to talk to Piper. Prue spilled the salt and refused the throw it over her shoulder as Piper told her to. Just then a waiter accidentally spilled spaghetti all over Prue. Coincidence? I think not. Prue went home to take a shower. Big mistake. As she was taking a shower the demon of fear showed up. He found out that Prue had a greatest fear of drowning. The shower started to fill up with water. Meanwhile, Andy found out that Prue was the last person to see Zoe. He and Morris went over to the Halliwell home. Thank god. Just as Prue was about to drown she started screaming and Andy rushed in. The water and the demon disappeared. It was pretty embarrassing for Prue. She told them that she had water in her eyes. They did not believe her. But Phoebe had a premonition about Prue and the shower and came rushing over. Andy left. After Phoebe was positive that Prue was Ok, she returned to work. That was when Mr. Warner, yes, Mr. Warner, came to take his wife to dinner. Phoebe could not lie to him and just quit the job. It turned out that he already knew about the affair though. Just as Phoebe was about to leave a lady called saying that Mrs. Warren had not shown up at a house that she was looking at. Phoebe volunteered to go. As it turned out it was not a lady, but the demon of fear. Phoebe thought that her greatest fear was becoming trapped in an elevator. She was wrong. Her real greatest fear was losing a sister. So it would work out nicely for the demon. He called Prue in Phoebe's voice asking her to pick Phoebe up at a house she was showing. Prue came and there was a pool at the house. The demon pushed Prue into the pool. Her powers and body were frozen in fear. When all of a sudden Prue's mom showed up in the pool. She grabbed Prue's hand and pulled her to the surface. The demon of fear died.

1x14 Secrets and Guys
Somewhere in San Francisco a young witch, named Max was being kidnapped. He had the power of psychokinesis, or to be able to move things that he could not see. The kidnappers knew that somehow he could move things that he could not see. They did not know or believe that he was a witch. They wanted him to help them rob a bank. They said that they would bring him back safe if the dad did not tell the cops. The dad did not. While spring cleaning in the attic the sisters received message on the spirit board. It said

The sisters were bamboozled. Max had sent them the message with his power. They had no idea who "Max" was. Prue later went to ask Andy if he knew anything. Andy just kind of gave her a funny look. She said that she had dreamed about the whole spirit board thing. Andy typed in his computer "Max." Nothing came up. Leo had suddenly come back to the Halliwell's home. He was back. Piper was really happy, but mad because there was a rude new chef. She had to go to Quake, but Leo offered to stay and fix a light in the living room. Phoebe walked in on him and found him floating up in the air, fixing the light. Phoebe's first thought was warlock. She could not be more off. Leo explained that he was a "whitelighter" which is like a guardian angel for witches. He had come then to help Max. He totally broke the rules in two ways. One he was not supposed to let witches know who he really was, and two he was not supposed to fall in love with a witch. Oops. So he had to break the news to Piper that he would have to leave again. Great. Phoebe and Leo spent the whole day going over what he would say. Meanwhile Max had to help Mickie and the other guy try break into a computer chip place. Why? Well, this was just a trial run, to see if he could actually do it. And he could. But it was only temporary. A guard came. Mickie shot him. Andy got a picture from one of the security cameras. He saw Max in the back seat of the car. Now he was suspicious of Prue. How did she know about Max? Andy went over to Bucklands to have a little chat with Prue. While he was there Max sent Prue another message
Kidnapped
Auto shop
Prue wasn't going to tell Andy how she knew of course, but she did get some information. Like that Max had broken into an arcade before with a boy named Danny, the same way that he broke into a computer chip place. It turned out that one of the kidnappers was Danny's brother. So she went to have a little chat with Max's dad. He told her about Danny. She then went to Danny's house. Danny gave Prue the address of the body shop where his brother worked. Prue found Max there. As they were going to escape the kidnappers came back. They hit Prue over the head and she conked out. They did not kill her because they knew that her power might come in handy. What they did though was they put a bomb on Max that would go off if the one guy pushed a button on a little remote thingy. Soon they were ready to go to the bank. As they were leaving Max's dad showed up, begging them to let Max go. Mickie just put Max and Prue in the van and shot Max's dad. Whenever they got there things went smoothly until the alarm started to go off. Max used his power to unrig his bomb. Then Prue moved security guards that were about to get shot. That got them mad. Mickie pushed the button when nothing happened he went to shoot Prue. Prue moved their guns and shoved them in with the money and locked the vault. Prue and Max quickly left. Meanwhile Leo was breaking it off with Piper. Piper understood that he was geographically undesirable. Then Leo suddenly had to go. He went to help Max's dad. He healed him just as Prue and Max got there. As a conclusion, Max, Prue, and Max's dad went to Max's mom's grave.

1x15 Is There A Woogy In The House?
One night there was an earthquake in San Francisco. There was an unusual smell in the Halliwell home. Prue was stressed because she had to have Claire, her boss, and an important client over at her house for dinner. The client was an architect and really loved the house. She mentioned that it was built on spiritual nexus. If there was a gas problem they could not come over and Claire would be mad. Well, a gas problem was the least of their problems. But they did not know that yet. So the Halliwells called a repairman to come over to check the house. When the man went down stairs Piper and Prue teased Phoebe because she was afraid of the "Woogie man" in the basement. Phoebe swore that she saw something down there. Prue and Piper never believed her. Grams told them a rhyme about how to kill the woogie man. Phoebe knew it by heart, but the others did not believe in it. Well, they should have because when the man went down in the basement a shadow like demon took over his body and made him evil. He came upstairs and said that by that night there would be no more problems. Prue was relieved and went to work. Piper had to go out and buy supplies for cooking dinner for everyone that night. Phoebe stayed home. The woogie man had to get the house from the sisters and spread the evil. He decided that he would turn Phoebe evil to help him go against the other sisters. The gasman pretended to be hurt and cried for Phoebe to come down. Phoebe cautiously went down. The Woogie man took her over and gave her new powers like to be able to make things materialize. At first she was still good, and just had a bad attitude. Whenever Piper got back home the gasman attacked her. Phoebe made a bat materialize and saved Piper. When Prue got home she was suspicious of how Phoebe acquired her new power. Phoebe would not share how she got it. The Woogie man was mad that Phoebe because she had saved her sister. He made her evil. From then on she was against her sisters. And so was the house. Hot water was pouring out the shower. Everything was shocking the sisters and the oven did not work right. Prue's dinner was sabotaged. She had to send them all to Quake. Prue and Piper went to say good-bye. After that they could not get back into the house. Phoebe and the Woogie man now had it. The Halliwells went to the learn more about the spiritual nexus stuff. It meant that the house was equidistant from the 5 spiritual elements, water, earth, fire, metal, and wood. That meant that it could go either for undeniable good, or undeniable evil. If evil had the house it would spread evil. They had no clue that the Woogie man was involved in all this. Their only clue was that Phoebe said that it was "his" house now. They went back to the house. It turned out that the Woogie man had turned the client lady evil and she had choked her student. Andy came over because he knew that she had been there. Phoebe and the Woogie man turned Andy evil, too. Just as Andy was exiting the house Piper froze everything. Prue and Piper were able to go in. They ran to the Book of Shadows. They found nothing on any of this. They pieced together that the Woogie man was real and the poem that Grams told them was how to kill it. Neither of them remembered it though. Soon Phoebe realized that they were there and went to kill Prue. Prue flung Phoebe and ran down stairs with Piper. Piper tried to leave the house. She could not they were now stuck in the house. Phoebe pretended to be hurt in the basement. Prue and Piper knew that it was a trick, but went down, anyway. After it nearly killed them Phoebe had a premonition of the night that she first saw the Woogie man. They then got Phoebe to say the poem. The Woogie man was killed and everyone was back to normal.

1x16 Which Prue is It, Anyway?
Phoebe didn't want to have a passive power anymore so she bought a martial arts training guy. She was really good at it. Piper and Prue came in when they heard her. While with Prue, Phoebe had a premonition of Prue being stabbed and killed with an unusual sword by a man. All night Phoebe looked up the sword in the Book Of Shadows. She found nothing. Phoebe and Piper wanted Prue to stay home, but she said that she had to meet a really important client named Helena Statler.
She promised to come straight home from work. They agreed. Later Phoebe found the sword in the Book of Shadows. It was the sword of the demons of war. They were demons that would go and start wars. They are immune to the weapons of man as long as they have their sword. If they are disgraced they have to steal back their abilities. One thing that they had to steal was the power of a first-born witch. Meanwhile Prue had to go to the Helena's storage place and look at their collection. Phoebe tried to call Prue and tell her all the information, but Prue turned her cell phone off. While Prue was at the storage place Helena locked her in one of the old things that would hold a person hands in the olden days. Gabriel , the demon of war, came out. He mentioned one of Prue's relative and how they had channelled their power through their hands. Prue quickly got free and threw an ax at Gabriel. It did nothing. She ran to her car and drove away. Prue and Phoebe exchanged information. Phoebe looked up their relative in the Book of Shadows. She found that she had disgraced Gabriel a long time ago by sending his sword far away. Phoebe knew that Prue was not powerful enough to do that so she found an incantation that would make Prue's power grow supposedly. So Prue said the spell. It ended up making 2 new Prues. Whoops. So after the three Prues annoyed the heck out of Piper and Phoebe, Phoebe gave each of them a different colored sweater so that she could know which one was the real Prue. That day Andy came over with tickets that he and Prue had ordered. He said that she could take anyone, but hopefully him. He gave it to the pink Prue (which was the bossy clone). The black one (the real Prue) saw it too, but not the blue (clone) Prue. So the Prues thought that one of the Prues would go to Quake with Piper and two of them would go to Bucklands. So that is what they did. They got Gabriel's address, but Claire came. She was mad because Helena did not like how Prue treated her. Oh no. The real Prue and Claire went to Gabriel’s estate. Prue was going to pretend to take a wrong turn and act like they were stood up, and the Pink Prue would go to Piper. But they had one slight problem, Gabriel got to the pink Prue. The real Prue could feel her die and Claire took her home. Gabrielle knew that it was a clone because it did not give him any powers. So he went on trying to get the real Prue. He decided that they would have to attack them at home. Meanwhile, Andy was called in to the city morgue to see if he could ID Prue's clones' body. Before he even saw the body he knew that it was Prue because he saw the bay area music tickets. He went straight to Phoebe to tell her, but was concerned when Phoebe asked what she was wearing. Then he was really upset whenever she was happy to find out that she was wearing pink. As they were talking the blue Prue and Piper walked in-and the black Prue-Piper froze him before he saw both Prue's though. The black Prue left the room and the blue Prue stayed. Andy was dumbfounded. Prue assured him that she had not died. He said that he could live with that. As he was leaving he asked Prue if she had decided about the concert. She was unaware that Andy had given the pink Prue the ticket. She asked if the tickets had come in yet. Andy said that he might bring them over sometime. Andy was confused. Anyway, Prue and Prue decided that they would go over to Gabriel's estate and take Helena hostage, and ask Gabriel for his sword for her. Phoebe and Piper did not like this plan and they privately told the black Prue. The blue Prue overheard and went to Gabriel’s anyway. She died quickly and Gabriel killed Helena. Only the real Prue was left. Phoebe had a premonition of Gabriel at the house. When he came they were ready for him. They got his sword and then shoved it in his stomach the sword and Gabriel turned into dust.

1x17 That '70s Episode
The three sisters go back in time to the 1970s, when their mother was still alive, to try and prevent her from making a pact with a powerful warlock in which he spared her life in exchange for the girls' powers.It turned out that he was a warlock that made a deal with their mom, Patti that to save her and the girls' life he got immunity to their powers. So they had their powers when they were little, they just did not know it because grams took them away to save them. The spell stopped when Grams died, so they got their powers back. He tried to kill them as they frantically ran up to the Book of Shadows. They found a spell that sent them back to when their mom had made the spell. At the time their mom was just barely pregnant with Phoebe and did not know it. Somehow since she was pregnant with Phoebe she had a premonition. It was a premonition of the big Prue, Piper, and Phoebe holding the little Prue. She thought that they were warlocks. This made it very difficult for them, but luckily in the premonition she could not see their faces, which bought them some time to make a plan. So they went downstairs and little Prue and Piper saw them. They were awestruck. They bonded quickly. While big Prue was holding little Prue Grams walked in. She was strong and sent them flying. They were stuck outside. They decided to go to where their mom worked. Since their mom, Patti, had the premonition of three girls they were going to have one sister watch for Nicholas, and two go in and show Patti their powers so that she knew that they were good. Phoebe volunteered to stay out since she did not have an active power to show. The sisters knew that it was not fair, but they had to do it. They were dumbfounded when Patti came over to serve them. They just stared at her. They went to use their powers they found out something really bad, only one set of Halliwell's could have their powers at a time, and the little ones had the powers. So they were screwed. Piper nervously said that she knew that Patti was pregnant. The problem was that Patti did not know and thought that it was clinically impossible. Patti got a phone call from Grams and she went to leave. Nicholas was outside waiting. Phoebe saved her and she left. When she got home Grams told her that she was supposed to meet Victor AKA daddy. Meanwhile big Prue, Piper, and Phoebe took little Prue and Piper. They were going to the park to practice what they were going to do to Nicholas. But little Andy saw them leave and told Grams. Grams called the police and they found them at the park. They took the sisters to jail. Meanwhile Patti went to meet Victor, but only to find that she was tricked into going to Nicholas' hotel room. Nicholas made her bless his ring, making him immune to hers, and the sisters' powers. He told her about the baby, and to save baby Phoebe and her she had to bless it. Patti was interested in how the sisters knew about her baby and got them out of jail. They explained everything and worried about how to stop Nicholas. They went over to his room and stole the ring. Patti unblessed it and they sent the sisters back to their time. Grams left them a spell in the Book of Shadows to vanquish him. So they killed him, and things were mostly back to normal.

1x18 When Bad Warlocks Turn Good
After chaperoning an event at a church Phoebe had a premonition of something happening in the church. Warlocks were attacking a man. The man was not at all surprised by Prue's power. He just ran away. As Prue would soon find out the man's name is Brandon Rowe and is half evil. Brandon's mom was a mortal, but his dad was evil. The two warlocks after him were his half brothers (dad's side) who if got Brandon to join them could be very powerful evil charmed ones. But Brandon was not going to let that happen. Brandon followed his heart and was good. He was committed to the church and being nice. If he would kill a mortal he would join his brothers in evil. If he became a priest he would be fully good and not able to join his brothers. Brandon opted for the priest route. So he tried to resist his brothers. Prue had no idea what was going on, so asked the priest where she could find him. He told her and she went to find him. Meanwhile Phoebe was trying to get Piper to go out with Josh . But she would not. When she finally went with him everything went wrong. But anyway, Prue found out whom Brandon really was and was determined to help him. Her sisters thought that she was crazy helping a warlock, but she assured them that he was good. His brothers did a spell that brought his evil side out. It was right before he was going to become a priest. Prue found him and helped him to become good again. While going to where he would become a priest he met his brothers who accidentally killed each other. So he became a priest, and Josh and Piper started to go out.

1x19 Out of Sight
There is a demon in San Francisco who steals the sight of children so that they can spot good people and kill them. Phoebe, Piper and Prue were on the case, but a reporter caught Prue using her power. From then on he was camped out on their lawn and trying to get her power on tape. He threatened to make her look like the devil in his story, if she did not work with him. Prue would not budge. Phoebe went looking for an old victim of the attack. He would not talk about with her though, until she brought up the issue of a demon doing it he decided to talk to her. She did not tell him why she believed that demons did it, but she assured him that she believed him. He was blind from the incident. Together they tried to find out where the grimlocks had taken him. Phoebe had a premonition of him wondering down in the stormdrains, with lots of pipes everywhere. He said that he heard a loud kind of generator. They figured that it was under the cable car turn-around. They looked on one of his Braille maps and found it. So that is where Piper and Phoebe went. Prue was going to go, but the reporter would have followed her. While down in the stormdrains Piper fell into a hole with a lid. Piper was knocked out, and Phoebe could not help her. She went to get Prue to help. The reporter was not going to let Prue go, so he messed up her car. Prue gave in and told the camera that she was a witch. The guy fixed her car and they were off. Andy found out where the girls were going through the blind guy. So Prue went down, she told the guy not to follow, but he did anyway. Then Andy came down. Luckily Prue had a liquid that would kill the grimlocks. So she took that. The grimlock had the power to choke you without touching you. He killed the reporter right away. He started to kill Andy, but Prue, Piper, and Phoebe saved the day. So now Andy knew about their powers. Prue made Andy take Piper up, since she was weak. Prue and Phoebe killed the one grimlock, but the other liquid spilled. Just as the grimlock nearly killed Phoebe, Prue used her power to make the liquid hit the demon. The blind guy got his sight back and so did the little kids. Andy told everyone that the little boys had gotten lost in the drain, and the reporter went in after them, and slipped and died. He then got an "anonymous" tip to go down there and found the kids. The old blind guy told the little kids to keep the demons a secret. Meanwhile, Josh told Piper that he had a job offering in Beverly Hills, and he would stay he thought that there was a chance between him and Piper. In other words, Piper had to let him go, or become serious. Great. She told him to go.

1x20 The Power of Two
Piper leaves to go for a conference in Hawaii, Prue and Phoebe are left to 'fend for themselves. Oh no. Well, instead of doing some house chores Phoebe went to Alcatraz jail with a friend. This jail supposedly had the ghost of a man who had been executed there. Nobody knew how true they were. During the tour of the jail the tour guide went in the cell were the ghost supposedly lived, well I guess now stayed. There really was the evil spirit of the man there. His name was Jackson Ward. A lady demon was with the ghost of Alcatraz. She took peoples' souls to hell. She was looking to take a witch's soul. That was where the Jackson came in. She would help him get out of the jail, which was only possible if he rode in a dead body out, and he would kill a witch. He was resistant to the offer. But the woman still killed the tour guide and the man hopped in. Only Phoebe could see what really happened. Jackson was left to go get his revenge on people involved in his lifeless predicament. Andy, now knowing that Halliwells were witches, went to Prue for help. Phoebe found a spell in the Book of Shadows that would vanquish the Jackson. One problem: they had to be dead to say it. Oh no. Then Prue found another spell that would let her die but come back to life if given proper CPR she would be brought back to life. They were going to have to try it. They did another spell first that would lure Jackson to them, and then they tried it. One problem, the guy knocked out Phoebe, therefore, preventing her from doing CPR. Luckily, Andy came to the rescue. So the demon was gone, Piper got back, everybody happy right? Well, almost. Prue told Andy about the truth spell. He finally said that he really could not accept it, and that he did not want that to be what he came home to when he finished work it was not what he dreamed his life would be like.

1x21 Love Hurts
While trying to save a soon to be whiteliter Leo got shot by a darkliter named Alec with poisoned arrow that would kill him. He went to the Halliwells for help. Piper was not too happy with this news, that Leo did not tell her earlier what he was. In addition she was in heck because her lover was dying and she could not help him. Leo had the power to heal, why couldn't he just heal himself? Well, his power only worked on others. So what Piper did was switch his and her power, so that she could heal him. The problem was that she did not know how to get his power to work. Piper also switched Prue and Phoebe's power. Prue and Phoebe went out to save Daisy. She had fallen in love with Alec, and she was a future Whiteliter. He had fallen too, even though it was said that darkliters were not capable of love, and wanted her to come with him. She would not. He was about to make her come when Prue and Phoebe saved her. They took her back to their house. Piper struggled to get Leo's power to work she tried everything to get it to work, but everything failed. Finally Piper admitted her love for Leo to him and a tear fell from her face to her hand. Then a purity surrounded Piper's hand and she healed him. Leo's power was triggered by love. Leo came back around, but Alec had come back to get Daisy. They had to be very careful, because Alec's power was a touch of death. He threatened to kill Piper, but when Prue walked in the door he threw Piper down and grabbed Daisy. They both turned into dust and flew away. Leo was too weak to use his power, so Piper had to use his power to find out where Daisy was. She saw Daisy and Alec at Golden Gate Park. They had a plan. As they came Prue threw him through the air so Daisy could get free. Then as he charged towards Prue, Prue said the power-switching spell, and Prue and Alec switched powers. Alec's power was triggered by hate, so Prue hated Alec and then touched him and killed him. As he died Prue switched their powers back. Afterward Leo explained to Piper what he was like when he was mortal. He was a pre-med in World War 2, and he felt a pain and he was surrounded by whiteliters. From then on he was a whiteliter. He told Piper he could become human again and be with her, but she told him no so he could help other witches. Meanwhile, Andy was being thoroughly invested by the Internal Affairs. He decided to quit, because they were not going to give up until they found out whom he was covering for.Darryl Morris was really confused and sort of hurt that Andy would not tell him what he was covering up. But Andy admitted that he was covering for Prue and that it was a good cause. Anyway, little did Andy know the one IA guy, Rodregis, was a demon after the Charmed Ones. Rodregis killed his partner, in a plan to kill the sisters.

1x22 Déjà Vu All Over Again
Rodregis was making plans to kill the sisters, when Tempest, a sort of time demon, came to help him. Rodregis was sure that he could kill the sisters on his own, but he let Tempest help him. So this Wednesday started. As Piper called Phoebe on the phone from Quake Kit knocked over the salt. Piper told Phoebe that she had spilled marinara sauce all over herself. The food channel was going to do a show on Quake, so Piper had to look nice. Whenever Phoebe got off the phone Prue looked confused and angrily at the paper. She showed Phoebe a huge article on the first page about how Andy was charged for killing the IA guy. As they were talking they heard a screeching noise and a car hit another car. Prue immediately asked Phoebe where she had parked her car. Phoebe said in the garage in a hesitant tone. They ran to the window but it was the neighbor's car. Phoebe sighed with relief. Phoebe then touched the newspaper with Andy on it. She got a horrible premonition of Andy lying dead on their floor. She was horrified. She told Prue and they were confident that they could prevent this from happening. So, Phoebe went to go give Piper a new shirt. As she got there so did the food channel person, Joanne Hertz. Piper used Phoebe to cover up the spill. As it turned out the Joanne went to school with Piper. She told Piper about her wonderful job, husband, house and everything else. She then asked Piper about her. Piper froze her because she had nothing to say. She was still living in the house she grew up in, she was a restaurant manager, and she was not married. So, Phoebe told Piper the situation. They left Joanne and quickly came home. Meanwhile Rodregis met with Andy, telling him that he knew the sisters were witches. Andy played dumb. Rodregis wanted Andy to set the sisters up with a talk with him. Andy was hesitant. Andy met Prue in the park to tell her. Prue requested that Andy not come in the house. He said that he could not do that, but Prue replied simply with "Do not make me use my powers on you." Andy agreed. They then shared how much they cared about each other. So, later that night Rodregis came to the Halliwell home. Andy waited outside across the street. As he went up the steps Kit hissed at him. He just smiled at Kit. When he came in the door he acted normal and showed them the police badge. As Phoebe turned around he sent her flying into the wall with a purple force of power. He sent another one at Prue, but Piper froze him and Prue moved it back into him. He died. Rodregis opened his eyes to find out that he had come back into his apartment, trembling from the trauma of dying. Tempus was there. Tempus informed him that he had restarted the Wednesday for Rodregis. Tempus was not surprised by his failure. So, we come back to the Halliwell home this Wednesday morning. Everything seems oddly familiar to Phoebe. De déjà vu she thought. But everything was like a repeat. She did not understand it. Everything kept coming back to her. So, she assumed that the day had happened before. Prue did not really listen to Phoebe until she predicted the neighbor's car getting hit. Then Phoebe went to tell Piper about Andy and the premonition and everything that was happening. Joanne was there like the day before. Phoebe told Piper to freeze her right away. Phoebe told Piper about Joanne everything. Piper unfroze her and *somehow* predicted everything Joanne was going to say. Then they went straight home. Meanwhile, Rodregis again was trying his luck with Andy. He was impatient this day. Andy and Prue then met in the park that day. The same things happened as the day before. So, later Rodregis went over to the Halliwell home. This time when Kit hissed at him he looked evilly at her. He went in the house and hit Phoebe right off the bat. She went flying. Then he quickly turned around and hit Piper. When he tried for Prue she hit it back at him. Both Phoebe and Piper were dead. The day started over once again. This time Rodregis was much more impatient. He was determined to kill all three sisters. Phoebe again had major de déjà vu, but this time remembered things a lot better. She realized what all was going to happen before it happened. She told Prue about everything and then called Piper. She told Piper the situation. Piper told off Joanne. Rodregis met with Andy once again. He was very pushy and upset Andy. Prue and Andy then met in the park. They said the same things, but ended it with "I love you"'s. When Rodregis came to the Halliwell home Kit hissed at him. His eyes turned purple. Andy was scared and followed him in. Rodregis hit Prue and then when Andy came in hit Andy. Piper froze him. They tied him up. Prue and Andy met on a different plane. Andy told Prue that this was his destiny, not Prue's. They had a sentimental moment and then Prue came back to the real world. Andy told her not to kill Rodregis. They knew that they had to move them out of the time loop. They found a spell to accelerate time. They said it. Then they let Rodregis go. He tried again and Prue killed him for the last time. Tempus was gone because they broke his time spell. So, everything was back to normal-except Andy. At the end Piper decides to quit Quake because her dream is to run a restaurant. Prue says about how she will miss Andy, but she knows that he will be watching them. In the last scene we see Prue use her power to close the front door. The end to the first chapter of the Charmed Ones.
