The show jumps ahead five years showing how the lives of the housewives have changed. The housewives still gather to play their weekly poker game, with Katherine Mayfair joining them. Susan is seen kissing a mystery man (Gale Harold); Gaby is shown caring for two children; Lynette's children have grown into juvenile delinquents; Bree is now a successful cookbook author, and her son Andrew is her assistant; and Katherine is elated to hear that Dylan has just gotten engaged, but there is no sign of Adam.
